These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through the online store.
2. Characteristics of Our Artisan Production
Giaquinto Tessitura Artigianale directly produces its items using artisan textile manufacturing processes.
Due to the nature of our production, the availability of a product on the website does not necessarily mean that every variant, size or quantity is already ready for shipment.
Some products are in stock and can be shipped quickly; others may require weaving, sewing, finishing or preparation after the order has been received.
When an item requires a longer preparation time than usual, the customer will be informed in accordance with the procedures described in our Shipping Policy.
3. Product Characteristics, Natural Fibres and Colour Variations
The images, descriptions and information provided on the website are intended to represent our products as accurately as possible.
As our products are handcrafted textiles made from natural fibres such as linen and cotton, slight variations may occur from one item to another.
Minor weaving irregularities, slubs, small knots, variations in thickness or other characteristics inherent to natural fibres and artisan production may be features of the material and manufacturing process and do not, in themselves, constitute a defect, provided that they do not affect the conformity or normal use of the product.
The photographs displayed on the website are intended to represent colours as accurately as possible. However, the colour displayed may vary slightly depending on the device, monitor, its settings and viewing conditions.
Furthermore, due to the inherent characteristics of natural fibres, yarns and dyeing processes, slight colour variations may occur between products from different production batches or dye lots.
For this reason, where purchases are made at different times, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between a previously purchased item and a subsequent order of the same product or colour.
Similarly, the product received may show slight colour variations compared with the images displayed on the website. Where such variations fall within the normal characteristics of natural fibres, yarns, dye lots and the manufacturing process and do not affect the conformity or normal use of the product, they do not, in themselves, constitute a defect.
4. Orders
By placing an order, the customer accepts the terms and conditions applicable to the purchase.
After the order has been completed, the customer will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is correct, including name, delivery address, contact details and any other information required to fulfil the order.
The customer is also advised to carefully check, before completing the purchase and again upon receiving the order confirmation, the items ordered, quantities and selected variants, including colour, size or any other available options.
In the event of errors in the information provided or in the selected variants, the customer is advised to contact us promptly.
If the order has not yet been prepared or shipped, we will make every reasonable effort to make the requested change.
5. Prices and Payments
The prices applicable are those displayed on the website at the time the order is placed, except in the case of obvious errors.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
The order will be processed in accordance with the conditions applicable to the selected payment method.
6. Availability and Preparation Times
Due to the artisan nature of our production, preparation times may vary depending on the item ordered, quantity, requested variant and the current workload of our workshop.
When a product is already available, the order will be prepared as quickly as possible.
When an item needs to be produced, completed or finished, preparation times may be longer.
Any preparation times communicated to the customer are separate from the time required by the courier for transportation and delivery.

7. Customised and Made-to-Measure Products
Upon request, products may be made according to the customer's individual specifications, including, by way of example, special sizes, embroidery, initials, names or other customised work.
For goods made to measure or clearly personalised, the right of withdrawal may be excluded where permitted by applicable law.
The fact that an item from the standard Giaquinto Tessitura Artigianale range is produced or finished after an order has been placed does not automatically mean that the product is considered personalised.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping conditions, costs and methods are described in our Shipping Policy and in the information provided during the purchasing process.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and, where requested, a telephone number that may be used for delivery purposes.
9. Right of Withdrawal, Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
The right of withdrawal and the applicable procedures are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy available on the website and by applicable law.
When exercising the ordinary right of withdrawal, the product must be handled and kept with due care.
Washed products cannot be accepted as ordinary returns or exchanges due to a change of mind, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
If the product received correctly corresponds to the item and variant stated in the order confirmation, but the customer subsequently wishes to exchange it for a different colour, size, variant or item, any exchange must be requested and authorised in advance in accordance with the conditions set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Where an exchange results from the customer's choice or error and not from an error by Giaquinto Tessitura Artigianale, any costs relating to the return or collection of the products and the subsequent shipment of the replacement product shall be borne by the customer.
For international shipments, particularly to the United States, Canada and Australia, exchange requests are assessed in advance taking into account the value of the order, the type and quantity of products and the logistics costs involved.
An exchange may not be authorised where, taking into account the value of the order and the transportation costs involved, the operation would be economically disproportionate.
The above conditions do not apply where, due to an error attributable to Giaquinto Tessitura Artigianale, the customer receives an item or variant different from the one stated in the order confirmation.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
10. Product Care, Washing and Use
The customer is advised to follow the care, washing and maintenance instructions provided on the product, its label or in the relevant information available on the website.
Deterioration resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, washing or treatment that does not comply with the instructions provided, the use of aggressive detergents or substances, bleach, inappropriate temperatures, spin cycles, drying methods or other unsuitable treatments does not automatically constitute a lack of conformity of the product.
11. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Consumers are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity provided for under applicable law.
The legal guarantee should not be confused with the right of withdrawal.
If the customer believes that a product has a lack of conformity, they are requested to contact us at info@tessituragiaquinto.com, providing the order number and a description of the issue.
Photographs may be requested and, where necessary, the product may need to be returned or otherwise made available to us in order to carry out the appropriate checks.
Any remedies to which the customer may be entitled will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
12. Use of the Website and Ownership of Content
Unless otherwise stated, texts, photographs, images, graphics, designs, distinctive elements and content relating to Giaquinto Tessitura Artigianale appearing on the website may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without the authorisation of the respective rights holders.
